Line Editing

Sentence and paragraph-level editing that focuses on style, tone, and impact. Filler words are removed and sentences may be rearranged to create stronger prose, all without changing your voice and style.

$500 for the first 50,000 words

$6 per 1,000 words after

Copy Editing

Checks for grammar, spelling, typos, style, and consistency. This is what you typically think of when you think "editing." It is somewhere between line editing and proofreading.

$300 for the first 50,000 words

$4 per 1,000 words after

Proofreading

The last step before publishing. This is the final read-through of the manuscript AFTER all other forms of editing have been completed to check for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors that might have been overlooked during line/copyediting (it happens to everyone).

$250 for the first 50,000 words

$3 per 1,000 words after

Formatting

Interior book formatting. Includes eBook and print.
